Friday Roundup

Arriba Arte was centerstage this week. Spent the better part of the week making pastel drawing still life images of flowers and food to sell at Tres Rebecas. We've got to make ourselves very visible there and part of that involves having plenty of our work on display and for sale. Getting there!

I also did a couple of Doc Ed shows up in San Marcos at Crockett Elementary School for a hundred 3rd grade kids followed soon after by a group of 85 2nd grade kids. The kids were great. Very knowledgeable about the Edwards Aquifer. Both shows went very well and I left there feeling very satisfied. I was a great way to end the week.

This weekend will be all about making Arriba Arte bigger and better. And of course, the usual fun Saturday night t.v. fun. Can't work all the time. I wouldn't want to do that.

Oh, and the booksigning/art show for the Milagro de Monterrey had to be moved back to May 4th due to scheduling conflicts but it's still a go! I hope you can make it. Check out our Arriba Arte Facebook page for more updates. Bedtime for me now. Have a great weekend. Night, night.
