July Sky #2

I took this one in the parking lot of a Bill Miller restaurant on the southside of downtown as I awaited the arrival of the person who bought my Star Wars Villains painting. Good thing I had my camera.

Tales From Norway- Masks

Here are the masks for the play "Tales from Norway" to be performed at St. Phillips College that were just completed this evening. Based on what I've seen at rehearsals, the show will look very good. The black light paints I used for the bridge that Pammy suggested be used (thank you!) looked great!  One more rehearsal tomorrow and then the show opens. Yahooo!!!

"Tales From Norway" Set- The House Flat Step By Step

The blueprint.
Putting it together.
Painting on the base coat.
Drawing the house. It lightly drawn so it's hard to see but it's there!
Almost done!
Ready for the stage.

This flat was made and painted in a couple of days when we discovered that the paperwork to pay for the supplies wouldn't be available in time to build it before opening. So Pammy and I put up our money for it. Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!!

Troll Bridge for "Tales From Norway"

This is the troll bridge for the play "Tale from Norway" to be presented at St. Phillips College as it appeared today. You can't tell but it's painted in black light paint. When the black lights come on it's going to look spectacular.  It's almost finished. All it needs are a few vines growing on it and it will be done. More photos tomorrow.
