I'm Lucky

I've been performing as Doc Edwards, Aquifer Explorer for the last five years and have enjoyed it very much. It' a lot of fun. I get to entertain kids, parents and teachers in schools, libraries in and around the San Antonio area that is within the Edwards Aquifer Region. Oh, and I also share a little info about the Edwards Aquifer too.

Smiles and laughter are the greatest reward for me in my line of work but every so often you a get a little something extra special. At the School of Science and Technology where I did a few shows today, I was given a nice gift (pictured above) by one of the students present at the last show of the day. Those kind of things mean a lot to me and I treasure those gifts.

More shows tomorrow. I can't wait!

Still Drawing After All These Years

Still at work on those illustrations for the children's picture book. It isn't always easy making a living in this line of work but I'm glad I'm still at it.
