When the circus played in New Haven, Connecticut back in 2001 Pammy and I were at a P.R. directly across the street from a hardware store. Since I could never resist a hardware store I had to check it out especially since it was locally owned and not a "big box". The owner was there and we got to chatting with him. He was very friendly and personable. We ,quite naturally, left with a bagful of hardware goodies for yours truly rung up by Frank himself!.
