More Circus Memories- Barry Lubin
Grandma. Color Pencil on paper. 9"x12" , 1995.
Barry Lubin a.k.a. "Grandma" the clown and star of the Big Apple Circus was a guest director for the RBBBC Clown College in 1993. He was to direct some gags for the Final Exam show but would also stroll around chatting with us wannabees. He seemed like a very quiet person but soon realized he had a dry wit. Since then we've seen him whenever the show played New York and each time he was as nice as always. Below are some informative links about New York's favorite clown.
