Still recovering from my head cold. Walked the dog. Ate barbacoa for lunch with Pammy. Put more Christmas decorations away( We always have too many). Paid utility bill. Stopped by the bank. Went to a poetry reading for my daughter's class. Bought a canteen for my son's nature walk/ field trip. Thought about the future and what it may hold for us this new year. We're almost a month and a half into it. Typically over the last ten years we've been here, the new year starts off quietly. No change. No new challenges. Oh, sure you set a few modest goals that will hopefully survive into the spring but this is the first time in a many moons that hasn't been the case. Feels good.
