ReplyDeleteI think I spent the better part of the nineties geeking out on Star Trek the Next Generation, X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Millennium. I was and remain a total geekboy.

Yes it was a comedy, at least in my opinion. I can't take anything with John Ritter in it seriously even if it was intended to be a drama. haha
ReplyDeleteFrom what I have read, John Ritter's family owns the rights to Hearts Afire and finally let DVD versions come out a few years ago. Not that I can find it anywhere. All 3 seasons are available supposedly though.
In the late 80's and early 90's, I was being my typical weird self and watching Nick at Nite reruns at 2am (I say weird because what kids 5-10 years old would watch Get Smart and be entertained?!) and catching Buffy later on in the late 90s as a teenager.
Sounds like a pretty hip kid. I feel the same way about John Ritter. The same goes for Bill Murray. When I saw Razor's Edge all I could think about was Caddyshack and Meatballs.
