What's Life Without A Little Whimsy?

The world would be a much happier place if people took the time to be fanciful ore often. I mean, just take a look at that tater! What fun! In celebration of the 75th year promoting Idaho potatoes the Idaho Potato Commission (Yes, there is such a thing.) has built this marvelous tribute to this starchy delight.

 It's been touring the country and made a stop here in San Antonio earlier this week. Pammy was out shopping and happened to see this "eight wonder of the world" at a local grocery store parking lot. She parked next to it, got this card, went in to shop and when she was done it was gone. Like Brigadoon. In fact, since she had parked right next to the truck she had trouble finding her car.

It's headed west now but if you happen to see an over-sized spud in your neck of the woods don't hesitate. Go check it out. No need to bring butter and chives. Just bring your inner child and a camera ,of course, so you wont think your going loopy seeing what your seeing with your own eyes.
