My Dad is the best. He's outstanding! We spent the entire day this past Sunday (Halloween Sunday) finishing up the witch's oven for the ballet "Hansel and Gretel". Dad worked with such joy and enthusiasm reminding me to love the work you do and have fun doing it. He could outwork any person half his age any day of the week. He made some fine detail work for the face at the front of the oven and the letters on it's side. He's amazing and he's my Dad.

Construction of the the cage and oven is complete! Today was spent adding some finishing touches to both set pieces but there could be a little more work to come once we have a look at them under the stage lights. We'll see. In the meantime we added a little a "distressing" to them.

The next project fort the show are the Punch and Judy puppets. The costumes for them are being made by the talented Diana Mascelli. She actually finished them today and they look fantastic. Our task is to sculpt the heads, hands and feet for the puppets. Whew! We're almost done, though. Things are looking good. More photos tomorrow.
