Today is Charlie Chaplin's birthday. Pass the word! He would have been one hundred and twenty two years old. In honor of his birthday I'm posting some photos and biographical info about him. Maybe later I'll pop in one of his silent classics like "The Kid" or "City Lights". You should too.

From the Sketchbook- The Last Starfighter

My week begins with continuing computer issues. I can only hope that come Friday, if not sooner, those issues will be resolved. In the meantime I'll simply plug away, and try to reassure my dear Dell that I wont be taking a sledge hammer to it's hard- headed drive.

Below are some drawings from my sketch book I drew over the weekend. I was watching The Last Starfighter with my son who thoroughly enjoyed it as did I. It's great to know that the films I enjoyed in my youth appeal to my children. It's like reading a good book with them (which we often do)in order share in one the simple pleasures of life. I did these quick studies from that film.
